Muhammad Ali, The three time Heavyweight Boxing champion and winner of Olympic Gold has died at the age of 74 at an undisclosed hospital in Phoenix Arizona. Ali won a total of 56 fights over the course of his 21 year career, only losing 5.

After being inspired by Malcolm X, Ali converted to Islam in the 1963, after he was already a Heavyweight Champion.

He was a father to 9 children

For 32 years Muhammad Ali had battled against Parkinson’s Disease, which had slowly, but not entirely, robbed him of his legendary athleticism and quick wittedness. Ali had spent the last few days in hospital for respiratory complications.

A funeral is planned for him in Louisville, Kentucky, where as was born on January 17th, 1942. His birth name was Cassius Clay.
